• £8 pays for a deaf child to attend one session of a special club, including the services of a speech therapist and specialist teachers
• £30 will buy a complete set of our Life Skills course for a child in an orphanage , a young offender, or a struggling parent
• £35 pays for one month's care of an elderly person in their own home
• £50 pays for a deprived child to go on a summer camp for 10 days

If you would like to discuss how a larger donation might be used, please contact Sarah Dennis.

Quite a number of employers now offer to match charitable donations made by their staff. Do ask if your firm has such a scheme.

If you would like your donation to go to a specific appeal or project, please enclose a note with your donation. If donating online, please e-mail Sarah Dennis and tell her your wishes.

Gift of shares

Share Gift is an organisation that can turn your shares into charitable donations. You can donate small holdings of shares, even one or two shares, which may cost more to sell than they are worth. In the case of small donations, you cannot specify which charity the money will go to when they are sold. However, Share Gift take very seriously the charity suggestions made by donors. If you have a large amount of shares you would like to donate then in practice you can usually choose which charity the proceeds will go to.

Online donations via Charity Choice are secure and neither you nor the charity will be charged a penny to donate in this way.
