What we do

Where we work

St Gregory’s Foundation supports projects across Eastern Europe, and in particular in Călărași and Chișinău in Moldova, in Tbilisi in Georgia and in St Petersburg and Moscow in Russia. However, our work often has a wider impact as our partners pass their skills and expertise onto others. By using the power of the internet, we…

Thanks to the Wish David and Darius are taking part in activities which will help them as they learn to write. Simple activities such as threading beads can help with fine-motor skills and also with concentration, both areas where the twins development was behind their peers. This will all feed into helping them access education and everyday activities. In Moldova this kind of support is not available to all, which is why St Gregory's helps to fund therapy for families who cannot afford it.

Thanks to our supporters we were able to fund our colleague, Ana, at Rain Kids in Moldova to gain professional therapy qualifications for working with autistic children. The boost to her skills has been felt by children and their families alike.

Congratulations to the young people from Sunny Corner who went to work on 21st March as part of World Down Syndrome Day. Two cafe's and a shop hosted work experience days. What a great step in confidence and visibility.

A big thank you to our donors who helped us raise £910 in just one week last week! Can you help us keep up the momentum and reach our target of £4,100? This is what we need to help the homeless shelter run by our partners, Mkurnali, to repair damage to their property caused by a burst sewer. They offer a vital service to homeless young people and families in Tbilisi, Georgia and they need our help. If you can't donate right now, please share.
